Valhalla and Hawthorne Fire along with Valhalla VAC and Transcare Medic were dispatched to the Sprain Brook Parkway North Bound by Hospital Road for a motorcycle accident. Upon arrival units found a single motorcycle off the road with one injured party. Units shut down the parkway and had the ambulance come in the opposite direction due to the closeness of the exit ramp and the severity of the patients injuries. The motorcyclist downshifted his bike and lost control of it causing him to get flung from his bike. Fire crews assisted the ambulance crew with packaging the patient and bringing him to the ambulance. 2482, 2193, Rescue 9, Engine 82, and Engine 155 from Hawthorne were all on scene.
