An Engine and Utility were dispatched to Hawthorne Elementary School for a large brush fire on top of the hill. Upon arrival Valhalla units assisted with extinguishing the fire and scene overhaul. Hawthorne Fire used there Fire Gator as well as hand lines and a deck gun from Engine 155. The fire was contained to the top of the hill.
