This afternoon the department, along with Valhalla Ambulance Corps, were dispatched to a motor vehicle accident with injuries on the Taconic State Parkway at Lakeview Ave. Units arrived on scene to find a two car MVA. Crews from Engine 84 and Rescue 9 secured the battery and mitigated fluid hazards. Patients were in the care of EMS. While on scene at the MVA the department was dispatched to a second call in district on Skyline Dr. Engine 84 cleared the accident to take the call in with Engine 83 and Tower Ladder 49.
