Tower Ladder 49 was requested along with engines from North White Plains and Armonk to relocate to Port Chester to cover their district while PC units operated at a 2nd alarm fire. While on standby, TL49 handled a gas call. Once the scene was turned over to ConEd, TL49 was notified that they were released by Port Chester command and returned home.
