Around 6am on Wednesday, VFD, Valhalla Ambulance, and the Mount Pleasant Medic were dispatched to an MVA with Extrication on Grasslands Road near the Sprain Brook off ramp. Units arrived and confirmed a party still in the vehicle and needing extrication. EMS made contact with the patient inside the vehicle. Crews worked to removed the door and cut the center post to extricate the patient. Patient was removed and transferred over to EMS. Once the vehicle was removed by tow units went back in service.
