Earlier this morning the department was dispatched to a report of a fire on Linden Place. Mt. Pleasant Police Department New York confirmed the fire and shut the door to the fire room to prevent spread. Car 2481 arrived on scene transmitting a 10-75 which brought mutual aid into the scene. Crews found fire on the exterior of the 2nd floor with heavy smoke condition inside. Two lines were set up, one on the exterior, the other was brought up to the second floor bathroom. Fire was knocked down on the exterior and crews opened up in the bathroom to check for extension. Once crews found no fire spread, units began to pick up.
