| Friday was a hot and busy day for Valhalla! Between fire alarms, Carbon Monoxide alarms, and a rollover car accident. At 4:19pm Valhalla Fire along with North White Plains and Valhalla VAC was dispatched to a rollover car accident with reported people trapped and unconscious near the circle of the Kensico dam on the Taconic State Parkway. County PD and County Park Rangers from the dam were first on scene and confirmed one party still in the vehicle unconscious after the vehicle had rolled at least twice and landed upright. 2481, Engine 81 and Rescue 9 arrived on scene and started to assist EMS with the removal of the patient. Engine 82 and North White plains arrived shortly after but were released. One party was transported to the hospital and the highway was turned over to PD. All fire units were in service by 5pm |
