Ex-Chief McCarthy (50 Years of Service) with Ryan Helmoski (4 Months of Service). Ryan is finishing up his basic firefighting class this weekend. As with all fire departments, our senior members are great assets for the younger generation. The tales of alarms from yesteryear are passed down, along with the tradition and respect that were passed to them. This is one of the great attributes of the fire service.
