This morning, members of the department showed off some equipment to Westchester Community College’s EMT classes. Crews from Rescue 9 and Rescue 59 went over the tools that are used during an extrication. The future EMTs were also given a quick lesson on what to expect when a victim is removed from a fire. We thank the instructors for inviting us and wish all the students good luck during their training.
