This morning the department was dispatched, along with an engine from Hawthorne Fire Department, to a motor vehicle fire on Route 9A near Skyline Dr. First arriving units found a fully involved car fire. A line was stretched from Engine 154 while members from Rescue 9 and Engine 84 gained access to the hood and interior sections. Once the fire was quickly knocked down; the vehicle was removed and units cleared the scene.
