This morning, the Valhalla Fire Department along with North White Plains Fire Department we’re dispatched to a motor vehicle fire on the Taconic State Parkway just north of Legion Drive. Crews arrived on scene of a fully involved van fire. Members of Engine 84 used the trash line to knock down the fire. Once the main body of fire was knocked down members overhauled the vehicle and hit any hot spots. Units cleared and the roadway was reopened.
