Valhalla and Elmsford Fire Departments we’re dispatched to the Sprain Brook Parkway at Grasslands Road for a reported motor vehicle fire. First arriving units confirmed the vehicle fire. Crews stretched a line off Engine 84 while Engine 237 and Rescue 9 set up for blocking. Fire was quickly knocked down. Crews gained access to the engine and passenger compartments. Once the vehicle was removed units cleared the parkway.
