Early this morning, VFD was dispatched with the Hawthorne Fire Department to a motor vehicle accident with entrapment and a truck into water, at the Rosedale Nursery. First arriving crew found a box truck into a brook with a party still in the vehicle. Officers from Mount Pleasant Police Department and members from Valhalla and Hawthorne Departments worked to extricate the patient from the vehicle and remove the patient from the brook. Crews also check a second vehicle which was involved in the accident, which was a block away. 2 other patients had minor injuries and were treated by EMS. Valhalla units were released soon after.
