Early this morning, VFD along with Elmsford Fire and EMS were dispatched to a motor vehicle accident with injuries on the Sprain Brook Parkway near I287. Units arrived on scene to a two car MVA. Crews applied speedy dry and assisted with traffic. While units were operating on the parkway, another call came in for an accident on Columbus Avenue at Summit Lake Drive. Units picked up from the first call and responded to the second. Once the crews arrived on scene they mitigated the fluid spill from the MVA and returned to service shortly after.
