On Friday night, VFD was dispatched to a person struck by a train at the Valhalla Train Station. Units arrived and located the party underneath the train. Metro North Fire Chief requested that all train traffic be stopped and power to the tracks be shut down. Once the power was confirmed off, crews extricated the victim from underneath the train. The victim was transferred to Valhalla VAC and transported to the hospital.
