Multiple Departments Battle 2 Alarm Structure Fire

Just before 9pm, Valhalla and Hawthorne Fire Departments were dispatched to Clovebrook Rd for a reported chimney fire. First arriving units found fire through the roof of the residence. Command requested a 10-75 which brought in additional mutual aid companies Crews made their way up to the second floor where they were met with heavy smoke. As crews battled the fire, they were met with heavy clutter conditions. A second alarm was requested to assist with interior operations. Members were able to bring the fire under control around 10pm. Companies were then tasked with checking for hotspots and overhaul. Mutual aid units were then released and soon after all units cleared.
