On Thursday, Car 2481 was flagged down by a passerby who noticed sparks and smoke coming from a drain pipe attached to the building in the Village. 2481 notified 60 Control who dispatched Valhalla and North White Plains units. Crews confirmed an arcing electrical line in the drain pipe. Interior crews checked the business and the basement. Another crew was sent to the roof to investigate. Power was cut to block and members dislodged a charred birds nest from the pipe. The area around the pipe was checked with negative extension. Units were released soon after.
