Today, the department gave its final farewell to Firefighter Alexander Ciampi. Al was a 51 year member of the Valhalla Fire Company #1. The Valhalla Fire Department extends its condolences to the Ciampi family during this tough time.
On behalf of our entire family, I want to say Thank you for everything you did for my dad. Between the honor guards, who stood by his casket to the beautiful salute and send off at the firehouse our family was overwhelmed. My dad loved the firehouse so much and made so many friends during the 51 years he was there. I know he was looking down with so much pride because of the wonderful tribute you all gave him.
