Recently members of the Independent Fire Company recognized Jim Wright for his 60 years of service. Jim is the company’s senior man but still plays a vital role. He is the company’s treasurer and enjoys talking to younger members about the history of the department. Jim is the model for the volunteer service, always willing to help with a positive attitude. We would like to thank Jim for his dedication and service to the residents of Valhalla. Jim received a plaque from the company and a proclamation from County Legislator Margaret Cunzio.

The company also recognized David DiPrinzio for his 40 years of service to the department.
